Casa El Teide is unique on Tenerife due to its location in the Teide National Park at more than 2000 m above sea level. It is perfect for small groups of up to six people who love nature, walking and star gazing. The night sky at this level is fantastic. With no light pollution whatsoever you are able to view the stars as never before. It really is an overwhelming experience. Casa El Teide is the only self-catering holiday villa in the Teide National Park and close to the lava strewn "moon" landscape where the movie "Planet of the Apes" was filmed.

There are numerous walking tracks in the huge expanse of the volcanic crater. It would take weeks to walk them all. At night time it is totally quiet and to watch the sun rise from this privileged position is an experience to die for. In fact, a lot of people get up in the wee hours of the morning to drive up to watch the magnificent sunrise.

Case El Teide has three bedrooms sleeping up to six people. Breakfast on the terrace with Mount Teide in full view will be a very special experience. There is an open stone fire place in the lounge. The bedrooms are heated with portable gas heaters during the cooler nights.

The house is fully equipped with all amenities such as fridge with freezer compartment, stove and a full range of crockery and cutlery, pots and pans.

Winter temperatures can be around freezing point during nights, but once the sun rises it soon warms up. Day time temperatures in winter can be very agreeable and are perfect for trekking and walking. The ideal place for some unforgettable days.
